How to Insert an Excel Spreadsheet on a Drawing

There are a few different ways of inserting a Spreadsheet into an Inventor drawing, however we always recommend one method over the others, as shown below.

• Go to the Annotate TAB > Table Panel > select the General table feature.

• In the Table dialogue, select the Browse button and find the Spreadsheet you wish to insert on the drawing. Once the Spreadsheet has been selected the Data Start Cell and Column Header Row will be populated respectfully.

• Now hit OK, and position accordingly on the drawing. Column widths can be adjusted to suit the width of text in the Spreadsheet once placed.
