Colourise Showcase Environment to Allow Model to Standout

In Showcase it is great that you can put your model into a 360 degree HDRI Environment to view from any angle and these Environments can look very good, carrying a lot of detail. However, this might start to distract from the design you are trying to portray.

One possible solution, if you want to keep a detailed background, is to Colourise the Environment Background image to give a monochrome effect, allowing the coloured model to standout from the Background image. To try this yourself, follow the steps below:
  • Open your Showcase Scene, then go to Appearance menu > Light Environment Library, then right click on the current Environment > select Properties from the flyout menu.

  • Once in Properties switch to the Background TAB > Background Image section > expand Show more details.

  • Tick on the Colourise option, then either drag the slider to set the colour or double click the colour swatch to pick a more suitable colour.

  • Now you can give your Environment a monochrome effect to make the model standout.

  1. Its nice and helps to get the effects to Colourise the Environment Background image to give a monochrome effect, allowing the coloured model to be prepared.I think HDRI Library and cgi backgrounds makes the site perfect for the designing.
